We had always wanted to go to the Black Sea with my family for years before we got married, but we never had the chance. I got married in 2022 and suddenly my registration became Giresun Center :) For this reason, my wife took me to Giresun to show my second hometown and village in September 2022.

When we entered the Center, I said, "I never expected a place like this, I liked it so much."

We went again a year later in 2023. This time we showed my parents their daughter's village, it's incredible :)

I will write down the places we went in order. I will be adding the notes as well.

  • Before you come to Samsun, you should definitely try the menemen with jackal and fried eggs at Kel'in Yeri .

  • Kök Ev - Cami Yanı Mah.

    • (It has a cafe, where you can eat pickles and roasted yellow cherries.)

  • Giresun Castle - Center

    • (We recommend breakfast in social facilities.)

  • Blue Lake & Kuzalan Waterfall - Dereli

    • (The two are very close to each other on the same road.)

  • Göksu Travertines - Dereli

    • (There is a fountain with soda water on the road close to the travertines, we recommend you drink water from there.)

  • Kümbet Plateau

    • There are shops where you can shop in the center of the plateau. If you go prepared, you can buy roasted meat from the butcher and have a picnic in your favorite area on the plateau :)

  • Kulakkaya Plateau

    • We stayed at "Zifin Hotel" for one night. We really loved and enjoyed the hotel. Since the plateau dropped to 15-16 degrees in the August heat, we even had a fireplace lit at the hotel :)

    • Be sure to go to eat lamb chops and meatballs in the center of the plateau. 4 of us ate 4.5 kilos of meat, but we have never experienced such a taste before.
